1. Who this covers
This agreement is for FoodPrint's partners — vendors (restaurants and home kitchens) and riders. It is the "separate agreement" referred to in our Terms of Service, and it sits alongside those Terms and our Privacy Policy, which also apply to you. You accept it when you submit your vendor or rider application. Partners are independent businesses, not employees, agents or franchisees of FoodPrint.
2. Becoming a partner
- Vendors are reviewed before going live: your store details, location, payout account and verification documents. We verify your bank account name and match your NIN to your name. A store may open provisionally while a physical check is completed.
- Riders must be at least 18 and are physically verified — an in-person appointment — before the first delivery. We also verify your bank account name, your NIN, and your guarantor's details.
- The details you give us must be accurate and stay accurate. The payout account must be in your name (or your registered business's name).
3. Vendors — money
- FoodPrint currently charges vendors 0% commission — you keep 100% of your menu price on every delivered order. If we ever introduce a commission, you will hear it from us first, with notice, before anything changes, and it would apply only to the food subtotal — never to the delivery fee (that is the rider's) or the service fee. Every deduction, now or then, is itemised on your payouts page.
- When we run a discount or promotion, it is funded by FoodPrint — your share is never reduced by our promos.
- You set your own menu prices. Customers pay the price you set; we add the delivery and service fees on top.
- Earnings are paid out weekly on Mondays by bank transfer to your verified account, covering everything delivered since the previous payout. Your full statement lives in your dashboard.
- An order only earns money when it is delivered. A cancelled, rejected or failed order is refunded to the customer and pays out nothing.
4. Vendors — running your store
- Respond to orders promptly. Customers have paid upfront. An order you never respond to is re-pinged, escalated to our team, and automatically cancelled and refunded after 20 minutes — you earn nothing on it, and it counts against your store.
- Two missed orders in a row auto-pause your store so no more customers are let down. Reopening is one tap in your dashboard. Use the store toggle, busy mode or your opening hours instead of letting orders lapse.
- Your reliability score — how often you fulfil accepted orders and prepare them on time, over the last 90 days — is shown to customers as a badge once you have enough orders. It is computed from what actually happened; it cannot be edited by you or by us.
- Menus and photos must be honest: real photos of your own food, accurate descriptions, allergens where you know them. You are responsible for food safety and for complying with food-safety law.
- Preorder kitchens: after your cutoff we send you the exact counts customers have paid for. Cook and hand over what the digest says — those customers can no longer cancel, so from cutoff the commitment runs both ways.
5. Riders — money
- You earn the full delivery fee on every completed delivery — FoodPrint currently takes no cut of it. The fee is shown on the offer before you accept.
- Earnings are paid out weekly on Thursdays by bank transfer to your verified account. Your delivery history and totals live in the Earnings tab.
- Orders are prepaid. Never collect cash from a customer, and never pay a vendor out of pocket.
6. Riders — deliveries and the handover code
- A delivery offer lasts 60 seconds. Letting two offers in a row time out takes you offline automatically (going back online is one tap); your acceptance rate also feeds your priority for future offers.
- The customer's one-time code is the proof of delivery. Ask for it only at the door, with the food in the customer's hands — never by phone, never in advance. Entering it is what completes the delivery and earns your fee.
- Five wrong code entries lock the handover and bring in our support team — if the customer's code isn't working, stop and contact support rather than guessing.
- If nobody can be reached at the drop-off, call the number on the order and wait 10 minutes before contacting support. Never leave food unattended and mark it delivered.
- Once you have picked food up, complete the delivery. Abandoning an order after pickup is treated as a serious breach.
7. The WhatsApp channel
Order alerts and delivery offers on WhatsApp are optional and only start after you opt in from your dashboard. The number you link must be your own (or your store's). Reply STOP to any message, or use the toggle in the app, to turn the channel off — email and in-app notifications continue either way.
8. Suspension, leaving, and what survives
- We may suspend or remove a partner for fraud, unsafe food or conduct, harassment, repeated reliability failures, or breach of this agreement. Where the issue is fixable, we tell you what happened and how to come back.
- You can stop at any time: vendors by closing the store, riders by going offline — permanently by asking us to close the account.
- Whatever the reason a partnership ends, earnings already owed are still paid out on the normal schedule.
9. Status and tax
Partners are independent contractors. You are responsible for your own taxes, levies and registrations, and (for riders) for your own vehicle, licences and insurance. Nothing here creates employment, and either side can end the relationship as described above.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this agreement; material changes are announced in your dashboard before they take effect, and continuing to sell or deliver afterwards means you accept them. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Questions: hello@foodprint.com.ng.
